Before you start
- The package definition must allow freezing (Set freeze rules). Packages that do not are not offered.
- Users with the Owner, Admin or Staff role can freeze a package. Ending a freeze early is for the Owner and Admin roles only.
- An inactive member's package cannot be frozen.
Freeze the package
On the Members page, press the member to open their page.
Active Packages on the page lists the member's packages.
Press Freeze Package in the Active Packages header.
The Freeze Package window opens.
Under Package, choose the package to freeze. If only one can be frozen, it is already selected.
Under Freeze range, pick the first and last day.
The Freeze preview shows the length, the freezes left and the new package end.
If you like, note why under Reason.
Press Freeze Package at the bottom of the window.
A "The package was frozen" message appears with the new end date.
What should I check in the preview?
- Freeze allowance left and At most: how many freezes the package has left, and how many days one freeze can last.
- Package end: the new end date, moved out by the length of the freeze.
- Bookings inside the freeze: freezing removes them, and their credits go back to the package, usable until the new end date.
- If you pick a later start date, the package is frozen on that day and stays active until then.
End a freeze early
A frozen package shows as Frozen under Active Packages, with the dates of the freeze. Every freeze of the member, with its reason, stays in the Freeze History section on the Payments card.
Press End the Freeze Early on the freeze line under the frozen package.
A confirmation window opens.
Confirm with End Early.
A "The freeze was ended" message appears with the updated end date.
The package is active again from today, and its end date pulls back by the days left unused. If the member holds a standing seat in a series, the series seats the freeze removed come back where there is room.
Cancel a freeze that has not started
A freeze with a later start shows under its package in Active Packages as a Planned freeze line, with its dates, until its first day. If the dates were wrong or the member changed their mind, cancel it from that line.
Press Cancel the Freeze on the Planned freeze line under the package.
A confirmation window opens.
Confirm with Cancel the Freeze in the window.
A "The freeze was canceled" message appears with the end date the package went back to.
- The freeze is undone as if it was never planned: the package gets its freeze back, its end date pulls back by the length of the freeze, and the freeze leaves the Freeze History section.
- If the member holds a standing seat in a series, the series seats the freeze removed come back where there is room.
- Other bookings the freeze removed do not come back. Their credits already went back to the package or into the Make-up Pool, and the member can be booked into those classes again.
Can members freeze their own package?
Yes. If the package definition allows it, a member can freeze their own package with Freeze My Package in the header of their Profile page. The same rules and the same preview apply, and the button is closed once no freezes are left. The frozen package shows as Frozen under My Packages on their Profile page. Members can cancel a freeze that has not started themselves, from the Planned freeze line on their My Packages card; a freeze that has started they cannot end early, and need to ask the studio.
