Before you start
- Edit Package is only shown to users with the Owner or Admin role. The Staff role cannot edit a sold package.
- The packages you can edit are listed under Active Packages on the member's page.
Edit the package
On the Members page, press the member to open their page.
Active Packages on the page lists the member's packages.
Press Edit Package on the right of the package you want to change.
The edit window opens.
If needed, change the Package Start Date.
If needed, change either the Package Validity Period or the Package End Date.
The two are linked: changing one works the other out again.
If needed, enter a new Package Price.
If needed, change Classes Included on a Credit or Trial package, or the Weekly Class Limit on a Duration package.
Press Save.
A "The package was updated" message appears.
When you change the dates
- The new period has to cover every booking from today on that is planned against the package. If one would fall outside, the change is not saved.
- The dates cannot be changed while the package is frozen. A package frozen earlier shows its end date already moved out by the freeze.
- A package with no end date can only have its start changed.
- When the end date moves, make-up credits valid until the package end move with it.
- If the new period or the extra classes cover the member's bookings awaiting a package, those turn into reservations shortly after.
When you change the price
- The price can only change while the package still has an open balance. A package paid in full, or one that never owed anything, has its price locked.
- The new price cannot go below what has already been collected.
- What was collected stays as it is; the rest of the new price is split again over the open installments.
When you change the classes
- Classes Included cannot go below the classes already used plus those reserved.
- Lowering it to exactly the classes already used completes the package.
- If the package limits how many credits each class can use, the new number has to fit those limits.
