How is each of the five pay models calculated?
Under Monthly Fixed the instructor earns a salary whatever the number of classes. Weekly Fixed pays its fee once for every Monday in the month. Per Class multiplies the fee by the classes held, Per Participant by the members who attended. Revenue Share pays a set percentage of the class value of every attended seat.
| Model | Calculation |
|---|---|
| Monthly Fixed | Monthly salary |
| Weekly Fixed | Weekly fee × Mondays in the month |
| Per Class | Per-class fee × classes held |
| Per Participant | Per-participant fee × members who attended |
| Revenue Share | Revenue share percent × class value of the attended seats |
Which model costs the studio less at low and at high attendance?
At low attendance the models that follow attendance cost the studio less; at high attendance the fixed ones do. Monthly Fixed, Weekly Fixed and Per Class pay the same however many members come, while Per Participant and Revenue Share grow with every attended seat. So read the Left to the studio column: under a fixed model the studio carries the cost of an empty spot, under the others the instructor does.
| Model | 3 attendees per class | 6 attendees per class | 9 attendees per class |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly Fixed | 30,000 TL | 30,000 TL | 30,000 TL |
| Weekly Fixed | 28,000 TL | 28,000 TL | 28,000 TL |
| Per Class | 28,800 TL | 28,800 TL | 28,800 TL |
| Per Participant | 14,400 TL | 28,800 TL | 43,200 TL |
| Revenue Share | 20,160 TL | 40,320 TL | 60,480 TL |
| Class revenue | 57,600 TL | 115,200 TL | 172,800 TL |
The terms are the calculator's opening values: a 30,000 TL monthly salary, 7,000 TL a week in a four-Monday month, 600 TL per class, 100 TL per participant and a 35% share. They are an example chosen to compare the models, not market rates. With these terms Per Participant and Per Class meet at 6 attendees per class, and Revenue Share costs more than all three fixed models above about 4.5.
Where do the calculator's inputs come from?
The classes and the attendance come from the attendance records, the class value from the packages. Classes held are the classes that have started, were not canceled and still hold at least one booking. Average attendees is the members marked present divided by those classes. The class value is the package price divided by its credits or, for a Duration package, which has none, by the weeks it runs times its weekly class limit.
- Classes held: the classes of the month that have started, were not canceled and still hold at least one booking
- Average attendees: the members marked present ÷ the classes held
- Class value: package price ÷ the credits in the package; a 10-class package sold for 4,000 TL gives 400 TL
- Duration package: with no credits, the price is divided by weeks × weekly class limit; with no limit, one class a week is counted
Why does the real month's pay differ from the estimate?
The calculator assumes one definition applied unchanged for a whole month, and a real month departs from that in a few places. Bonuses are added as separate lines, a definition that changes mid-month applies to each class on its own date, and the fixed pay of an instructor who works only part of the month is prorated. The classes, attendance and class values are also the real figures, not averages.
- Bonuses are separate lines: Per Class takes a per-participant bonus, Per Participant a per-class bonus, the fixed models both, and Revenue Share none
- A mid-month change: a fee raised from the 16th applies only to the classes from that date on
- A part month: Monthly Fixed pays days worked ÷ days in the month of the salary, Weekly Fixed only the Mondays that fall on days worked
- The real revenue: each member's class value comes from their own package, not from one average
How do you choose an instructor pay model?
Choose the model by the average attendance of the classes and by who you want to carry the risk. First find the real average from the attendance of recent months, then compare the candidate models for the same month in the calculator and move the attendance to a low and a high case. Whether you want to give the instructor a predictable income or a stake in full classes settles the choice.
Find the real average
Take the classes held per month and the attendees per class from the attendance of recent months.
Work out the class value
Divide the price of the packages most used in the instructor's classes by their credits.
Find the break-even attendance
Divide the per-class fee by the per-participant fee; below that average Per Participant costs the studio less, above it Per Class does.
Try a low and a high month
Move the attendance down and up in the calculator and pick the model whose Left to the studio amount stays acceptable at both ends.
How is instructor pay calculated in Dakik?
In Dakik each instructor has a pay definition, and pay is calculated from the attendance taken, with no manual step. A definition that changes mid-month applies to each class on its own date, bonuses are added as separate lines, payouts are deducted, and the unpaid balance shows per instructor.

Frequently asked questions
How do I find the class value?
The class value is the share of a package price that falls on one class: divide the package price by its credits. An 8-class package sold for 3,200 TL has a class value of 400 TL.
Does the calculator include bonuses?
No. It shows one model applied unchanged for a whole month. Bonuses, terms that change mid-month and a month worked only in part are left out.
Why does Weekly Fixed count four or five weeks in a month?
Weekly Fixed pays once for every Monday in the month. A month with four Mondays counts four weeks and one with five counts five, so the same fee adds up to a different total from month to month.
What class value do I enter when members come on different packages?
Enter the average class value of the members who attended: divide the month's class revenue by the attended seats. Dakik needs no average; each member's value is read from their own package, so a member on a discounted package counts at that discounted value in the instructor's share too.
Is pay calculated separately for each instructor?
Yes. The calculator prices one month of one instructor; enter each instructor's classes, attendance and terms on their own. Different instructors in one studio can work under different models, and in Dakik each instructor has their own pay definition and their own monthly calculation.
