Who do these terms apply between?
These Terms of Use are the contract between Dakik and the business that opens a studio account through dakik.studio. By checking the box on the signup form and creating your account, you accept the terms.
The studio that opens the account in the course of its business is the party to this contract; the staff and members who receive an account through the studio's invitation use the service to the extent the studio authorizes. The studio undertakes to comply with these terms on behalf of its staff and its members.

What service does Dakik provide?
Dakik is a software service (SaaS) that gathers a studio's daily work into one panel. It runs in the browser and needs no separate installation.
- Member records, package definitions and class credits
- The class schedule, bookings, the waitlist, and the make-up and freeze rules
- Attendance, and the instructor pay calculated from it
- Income, expense, installment and cash flow tracking
- In-app, push and WhatsApp notifications
Dakik is not accounting or e-invoicing software, a payment institution, a medical device or a source of health advice. The scope of the service may be developed over time; where an existing feature is substantially restricted, the studio is notified in advance.
How is an account opened, and what does each role do?
Whoever opens the studio account becomes Owner. Staff and members are added through the invitations sent from that account; where the studio has opened its trial class page, a visitor who books a trial class there becomes a member too. Other than that, signing up on your own and joining a studio is not possible. An account belongs to one studio and one role; only the Owner account is linked, in the same role, to every branch it opens.
| Role | Permissions |
|---|---|
| Owner | Everything an Admin may do, plus the branches, the branch details, the setup and granting or withdrawing the Admin role |
| Admin | Studio settings, staff and member management, the financial records, and approving out-of-rule actions with a stated reason |
| Staff | The calendar, sessions, bookings, waitlists and attendance; member records, package sales and freezes; taking a member payment or recording a debt; their own pay summary. No access to the financial reports, the studio settings or the staff records |
| Member | Their own packages, bookings, class history and notification preferences |
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for what is done through your account. If you believe your password has been compromised, change it immediately; a password change closes the sessions on your other devices.
What do you undertake as a studio?
Using the service lawfully and in line with these terms is the studio's responsibility. The following are the minimum obligations.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the member, staff and financial data you enter into the application.
- Presenting the privacy notice to your members and collecting explicit consent for special category data such as a health note is your obligation; you can edit the studio privacy text in the application for that purpose.
- Collecting the parental or guardian consent required for members under the age of 18 rests with the studio.
- Do not enter content into the application that is unlawful, that infringes the rights of third parties or that falls outside the purpose of the service.
- Do not share your account with third parties and do not use it for unauthorized access.
- When you send WhatsApp notifications from your own number, comply with the WhatsApp and Meta rules and with the commercial electronic message legislation.
- Do not copy the software, do not reverse engineer it, do not overload it with automated tools, and do not resell the service.
Who owns the studio data?
The member and staff data your studio enters into the application belongs to the studio. For that data the data controller is the studio; Dakik is the data processor, processing it only to provide the service and on the studio's instructions. For the account and marketing site data, Dakik is the data controller.
Isolation between studios is enforced in the database with row-level security: one studio's query technically cannot reach another studio's records. Your data is not used for advertising and is not sold.

On what condition is a notification delivered?
For WhatsApp notifications the studio connects its own WhatsApp number to the application. While no connection is established, or while it is down, no WhatsApp message is sent; the notification still appears inside the application.
Delivery of a message depends on WhatsApp, on the browser push services, on email providers and on mobile operators. For that reason there is no undertaking that a notification will arrive, or that it will arrive within a particular time; Dakik cannot be held responsible for what follows from a class reminder that did not arrive.
How do the free trial and the fees work?
Every studio uses the first 30 days with every feature of the Pro plan and no active-member or branch limit, free of charge; no card details are asked for at this stage and no payment method is held in the application. The data you enter during the trial is kept.
| Plan | Active member limit | Branch limit | Monthly fee | Monthly equivalent when paid yearly |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | Up to 100 active members | 1 branch | 1,490 TL/mo | 1,190 TL/mo |
| Growth | Up to 300 active members | 3 branches | 2,990 TL/mo | 2,390 TL/mo |
| Pro | 300+ active members | Unlimited | 4,990 TL/mo | 3,990 TL/mo |
All prices include VAT. Paying yearly takes 20% off. The subscription fee is not collected inside the application at this stage. Toward the end of the trial the studio owner gets reminder emails; to continue, you write to our team and choose a plan, and the payment and invoicing steps are completed over email. There is no automatic renewal; your account is not charged unless you arrange the payment yourself.
- An active member is a member who has not been made inactive and holds a running package; the limit counts the active members of every branch of your business together. Once your active member count reaches your plan's limit, no package can be given to a member without a running one, the trial class page takes no new booking and no inactive member whose package is still running can be made active again; adding a new member is not affected, and your existing members are not made inactive. You move to a higher plan by writing to us; your data and your settings stay exactly as they are.
- The branch limit decides your plan as well as the active member limit: once it is reached, no new branch can be opened. The WhatsApp Assistant is included in the Pro plan alone.
- A move to a lower plan takes effect for the next period, once your current billing period ends; no record of yours is deleted because of a plan change.
- A price change is notified to the email address registered to your account at least 30 days in advance and takes effect only in the next billing period.
- The service runs to the end of the period already paid for; no refund is made for a period that has begun.

How does the referral program work?
Dakik runs a referral program that rewards studios for inviting other studios. Every studio, including one still on its trial, finds its own referral link in the application, on the Invite a Studio screen under Settings.
- When a new studio that signed up through a referral link makes its first subscription payment, the inviting studio and the invited studio each receive 30 days of free use. Signing up or starting the trial does not earn a reward on its own.
- The free days are added to a paid subscription period. If the studio is still on its trial when the reward is granted, the days are held and added to the studio's first paid period.
- As the inviting side, a studio can earn at most 12 rewards in any 12-month period.
- Rewards cannot be exchanged for cash, refunded or moved to another account; a studio is tied to one referral link only.
- In cases of abuse, such as a studio inviting itself, several accounts opened for the same business or a link spread in a misleading way, Dakik may void the referrals and rewards concerned.
Dakik may change the terms of the program or end it; it announces a change on this page and to the studio's registered email address before the change takes effect. A change does not affect rewards earned up to that date.

Does Dakik take payments from members?
No. Dakik does not collect payments from your members, does not collect card details and does not issue an invoice or a receipt to your members. Studio staff record the payments you take in cash, by bank transfer or by card terminal into the application by hand.
The income, expense and installment records in the application are there to follow the studio's cash flow; they do not take the place of statutory books, invoices and tax records. The official accounting obligations stay with the studio.
What happens if the service is interrupted?
Reasonable effort is made to keep the service running without interruption; planned maintenance is carried out in the quieter hours wherever possible and is announced in advance. There is no committed uptime (SLA) figure today.
The database is backed up every day and a backup is kept for 30 days. No liability is accepted for indirect damage arising from a fault, from maintenance, from a third-party service outage or from force majeure.
Who owns the software?
Every intellectual property right in the Dakik software, its interface, its brand and its content belongs to Dakik. For the term of your subscription you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable use right that cannot be sublicensed.
The data your studio enters into the application belongs to the studio and falls outside this clause. Copying the software, renting it out, attempting to reach its source code and pulling data from it in bulk with automated tools are prohibited.
How is liability limited?
Subject to mandatory provisions of law, the service is provided as it stands. The accuracy of the data entered into the application, and the consistency of the class and payment records with the studio's own records, are the studio's responsibility.
Dakik's total liability under this contract is limited to the service fee the studio paid in the 12 months before the claim arose. No liability is accepted for lost profit, for lost business or for indirect damage.
When is an account suspended or closed?
The studio can close its account at any time by giving notice. While your trial or subscription is running you can download your member list (with each member's package status) and your income, expense and installment records as CSV with the export tools in the application; nothing can be exported while the studio is locked.
- When the trial or a paid subscription period ends and no new period has been set up, access to the studio ends at that moment and the studio is locked. A lock does not end the contract and deletes nothing: your data is kept, and access returns where you left off once the Dakik team records a new period.
- The account may be suspended immediately in the event of unlawful use, of an infringement of the rights of third parties, or of conduct that threatens the security of the service.
- Locking or closing the account deletes no data. Studio data is deleted, destroyed or anonymized upon the studio owner's written request, within 30 days of the request at the latest; the copies in the daily backups are deleted when the backups' retention period runs out.
What happens if the terms change?
These terms are updated when they need to be. The current text is always published on this page and the "Last updated" date at the top of the page is refreshed; a substantial change is additionally notified to the email address registered to your account.
Continuing to use the service after that notice means you accept the updated terms. If you do not accept a change, you can close your account.
