Instructor pay
Dakik works out instructor pay every month from the classes on the calendar and their attendance. Each instructor gets one of five types: Monthly Fixed, Weekly Fixed, Per Class, Per Participant or Revenue Share, with an optional bonus. A definition that changes mid-month applies to each day by the rule in force that day. Payments are recorded with Pay the Instructor as an expense, and instructors see their pay on their own Profile page.

Five compensation types
A monthly or weekly salary, a per-class or per-participant fee, or a share of revenue; rates can differ by class.
Worked out from attendance
Classes held and members marked Attended are counted; there is no month-end close, and the figures refresh every time.
Pending payment
Pay left unpaid from earlier months shows on its own, and a payment can cover part of it.
The instructor's own page
Instructors see this month so far, their payouts by month and their definition on their Profile page.
Which compensation types can you set?
Each instructor's definition has one Compensation Type. Monthly Fixed pays the full salary for a whole month worked, Weekly Fixed one week's salary for every Monday of the month. Per Class multiplies the classes held by a fee, Per Participant the members who attended. Revenue Share takes a percentage of the class value of the instructor's classes. Per Class and Per Participant fees are set class by class: Reformer 500 TL, Zumba 300 TL.
- Monthly Fixed
- A salary. For someone starting or leaving mid-month, it is prorated by the days covered.
- Weekly Fixed
- A weekly salary; every Monday the work covers in the month counts as a week.
- Per Class
- Per-Class Fee × classes held: a session that has started, was not canceled and has at least one active booking.
- Per Participant
- Per-Member Fee × members marked Attended. A No-show or an unmarked member does not count.
- Revenue Share
- Share of Revenue: a percentage of what each attending member's class is worth from the package that paid for it.
Bonuses are optional: a Per-Class Bonus and a Per-Member Bonus are entered as an amount or as a percentage of the instructor's own rate. Revenue Share takes no bonus.
How is the monthly pay worked out, and when does it change?
Pay is worked out again from current records every time it is viewed; there is no month-end close. The Compensation and Payments card on Staff Details shows the Total and Paid for the selected period, then each month with its classes, members, status and total. Pressing a month opens its Calculation, every item with its quantity, rate and amount. Attendance taken later, or a backdated definition, updates a past month too.
- A new definition applies from its Effective Date; when a month has two, the days each one covers are shown
- A definition already in force is never edited; a change is added as a new one, and the old one keeps counting for past months
- Sessions of a class with no rate never vanish: they are listed as Not counted
- Sessions in a past month still missing attendance show as a warning when that month is opened
How do you pay an instructor and follow what is left?
At the top of Staff Details, the Pending Payment tile shows pay left unpaid from earlier months, and Compensation This Month what the current month has earned so far. Pay the Instructor opens Add Expense with the oldest unpaid month and a suggested amount; enter less for a partial payment. The payment goes onto Finance › Expenses as a Staff Compensation expense and comes off what that month still owes.

Frequently asked questions
How is pay worked out when attendance is not taken?
Under Per Class, a class counts once it has started and has at least one active booking. Under Per Participant and Revenue Share, only members marked Attended count; an unmarked member is left out. When you finish the attendance later, that month updates on its own.
What happens if an instructor is paid too much?
When payments go beyond what the month earned, the month is marked Overpaid, the extra amount shows on its line and Outstanding reads 0 TL. This usually follows a backdated definition lowering a month already paid; you take the extra into account in a later payment.
Can an instructor earn a different rate for different classes?
Yes. Under Per Class and Per Participant the rate is set class by class: each line holds one or more classes, their fee and an optional bonus. A class sits on one line only; a class on no line earns nothing and is listed separately.
Is staff who do not teach paid from here too?
Yes. Administrative and Other staff have a compensation definition and a Compensation and Payments card as well. Record their payment by paying the rest of a month on that card, or on Finance › Expenses with the Staff Compensation payment type.
