The schedule and session planning
Dakik's schedule shows the studio's week on one screen: every session card carries the class, the room, the instructor and the occupancy. Room and instructor conflicts are stopped with a red warning before you save, a session moves with a drag and drop, and a class that repeats every week is set up once as a series. Attendance is taken on the same screen and flows straight into instructor pay.

Week, Month and List
One schedule, three views; the filters live in the address, so a shared link opens the same view.
Conflict warnings before you save
A booked room, an instructor already teaching or a blocked hour stops the save with a red warning.
Repeating series
Set up the weekly class once; every change asks whether it is this session only or the ones after it too.
Attendance in one tap
Attended and No-show are saved as you mark them; missing attendance gathers under its own filter.
What do the week, month and list views show?
In the week view the days are columns and the hours rows, and every session card shows the class, the room, the instructor and how many have booked (4/6, say). The month view lays out the whole month; the list view groups the week by day, and opening a row shows the members and the Take Attendance button. The schedule reopens in the view you last chose.
- Week
- Days as columns, hours as rows. Pressing an empty hour opens Add Session at that day and time; sessions move by drag and drop.
- Month
- Every session of the month; what does not fit a day gathers in a "more sessions" line, and the day number opens that week.
- List
- The selected week as a list grouped by day; Pin Today to the Top keeps today at the head of it.
- Class, Room, Instructor, Member, Class Type, Level, Availability and Status filters; Availability shows only sessions with free spots
- The filters and the week shown are written into the address, so a shared link opens the same view
- A My Classes / Whole Studio choice for a staff member with an instructor record
How are room and instructor conflicts prevented?
Dakik checks for conflicts while you fill in the Add Session or Edit Session form. A room already booked at that hour, an instructor already teaching another class or a blocked range is shown as a red warning, and Save does not work while it is on screen. The warning clears as soon as you change the time, the room or the instructor, so a clashing schedule is never saved.
- Room conflict, instructor conflict, room blocked and instructor blocked warnings, naming the session in the way
- The form only lists the rooms that host the class and the instructors who can teach it
- Drag and drop follows the same rules: if the new time breaks one, the card returns to where it was
- When only some dates of a new series clash, "Skip the conflicting dates and save" leaves those days out
How do you set up and change a class that repeats every week?
When a class runs at the same time every week, turn on Repeat this session in the form and pick the start date, the end date and the weekdays; Dakik creates the whole series at once. Editing or dragging a session of a series asks whether the change applies to that session only or to this and the following ones. Past sessions never change.
Add Session
Press Add Session on the schedule and choose the class, the room and the instructor.
Repeat this session
Turn the switch on and pick the Start Date, the End Date and the weekdays.
Preview and save
Skip any clashing dates in the preview and save; the series is created and the first session opens its Session Members window.
When a class stops for good, Cancel the Series From This Date ends it from that day and returns the booked members their credits.
How is attendance taken, and what does it change?
Attendance opens once a session starts: in the Take Attendance window each participant is marked Attended or No-show, and Mark Everyone Attended covers a full class. Every mark is saved at once. Completed attendance feeds the per-class and per-participant pay of the instructor, and past sessions still missing attendance gather under the schedule's missing-attendance filter.
- Owners, admins and staff can take attendance; the session's own instructor always can
- The list view shows the last 30 days of sessions missing attendance, with how many participants are unmarked
- A participant added without a package is charged to a fitting package once marked Attended
Frequently asked questions
Can the schedule be used on a phone?
Yes. Dakik runs in the browser and can be added to the home screen. On a narrow screen the week view shows one day at a time; you pick the day from the strip above or swipe the schedule. A session can be dragged to another time on the same day.
Are members told when a session's time changes?
Yes. When the date, time, length, room or instructor changes, the booked members and the instructor are notified. The members move with the session, so there is nothing to add again.
What happens when a session is full?
A member who wants a full session joins its waitlist. When a spot opens or you raise the capacity, the next member in line is offered the spot. Capacity cannot go below the number already booked.
How do I move my spreadsheet or paper schedule into Dakik?
You fill in the ready-made CSV template and send it to the Dakik team, who do the import. Repeating classes are set up as series, so there is no entering every week by hand.
