Before you start
- Only users with the Owner or Admin role can change a package price.
- A saved package's Price is locked in Edit Package. The price only changes through Change Price.
Enter a new price
On Business › Packages, choose Change Price in the package card menu.
The price change window opens, showing the current price.
Enter the new price under New Price.
Under Effective From, choose the day the price applies from.
You can choose today or a later date, but not a past one.
Press Save.
For today, "The new price applies from today" appears; for a later date, "Price change planned".
Withdraw a planned price
Choose Change Price in the package card menu.
Under Price History, press Withdraw next to the row marked Planned.
A "Planned price withdrawn" message appears.
Price History lists every price change, newest date first, and marks the price that applies today as In force. A price already in force cannot be withdrawn; plan a new price change instead.
What happens to packages already sold?
The new price applies only to sales made from its date on. Packages already sold keep their price and their installments.
- When you sell the package, the Package Price starts at the price in force that day; you can still enter a price just for that member (Sell a package to a member).
- Sign-ups through the trial class page also use the price in force on the day.
- To change the price of one member's sold package, see Edit a sold package.
