Cancel a session

   Choose Cancel in the "⋯" menu of the session card, or open the session and press Cancel the Session at the bottom of the window.

   The Cancel the session window opens.

   If you like, write a reason under Reason for canceling.

   If the session belongs to a series and the repeats after it should go too, tick Also cancel the repeats after this date.

   Press Cancel the Session.

   The message "The session is canceled" appears with the number of members whose credit came back.

When you cancel, each registered member's spot closes like this:

• A spot booked on a package credit, or with a trial package, gives the credit back to the package.
• A spot whose credit was already spent, or that a make-up credit paid for, comes back as a make-up credit valid until the package ends.
• Spots booked on a time-based package and Awaiting Package bookings are removed; no credit was taken for them.
• The session's waitlist closes.

Cancel sessions of a series

With Also cancel the repeats after this date ticked, every later planned session still in the series is canceled under the same refund rules. Sessions that left the series are not touched.

Delete a session

   Open the session and press Delete the Session at the bottom of the window. On a session canceled by hand, the same option is in the "⋯" menu of the card too.

   The Delete the session window opens.

   If members are registered, choose a Refund. Treat as never booked is selected to start with.

   If a standing member of the series is among them, choose Remove from this session only or Remove from the series under Removal scope.

   Press Delete the Session.

   The message "The session is deleted" appears and the session leaves the calendar.

For what each refund means: Add members to a session. If Member-caused runs into the package's cancellation rules, only an Owner or Admin can go ahead, with a written reason: Override a booking rule.

• Delete the Session is not available once the session has started; cancel it first.
• A session that took place cannot be deleted from the calendar.
• Deleting a session canceled by hand leaves the credits the cancellation gave back with the members.
• A session canceled by a blocking rule after it had bookings cannot be deleted.

Past sessions

When you open a session that took place or was canceled, the form is read-only and reads "A session that occurred or was canceled cannot be edited." at the bottom. A session canceled by hand keeps only Delete the Session.
