What the warning says
Dakik checks for conflicts while you fill in the session form and shows a red warning for each one. While a warning is on screen, Save does not work.
- Room conflict
- The room you picked is taken by another session at that hour. The warning gives that session's room, date, time, class and instructor.
- Instructor conflict
- The instructor is teaching another session at that hour. The warning gives that session's details.
- Room blocked
- The room is marked closed in that window. The warning gives the blocked dates or days and hours.
- Instructor blocked
- The instructor is marked unavailable in that window. The warning gives the blocked window.
Find the clashing session
Note the date, time, room and instructor the warning gives.
On the Calendar page, go to that date.
The clashing session shows on the calendar. On a busy day, use the room or instructor filter: Calendar views and filters.
Decide which session should change: move the new one to another time, room or instructor, or move the existing one: Move or copy a session.
Back on the session form, change the time, room or instructor.
Once the conflict is gone, the warning disappears and Save works.
Blocked windows
Owners and Admins set the blocked windows; users with the Staff role cannot change them.
- Room blocks are on Business › Rooms, in the room's Availability section: Rooms and room availability.
- Instructor blocks are on Business › Staff, in the instructor's Availability section: Staff availability and blocks.
If a block no longer applies, ask for it to be removed. If it is right, pick another time, room or instructor.
When creating or changing a series
When you create a repeating series, the preview under the form lists every conflicting date with its reason and says how many dates conflict.
- Tick Skip the conflicting dates and save to drop the conflicting days from the series and create the other sessions. Once saved, a message says how many dates were skipped.
- Without the tick, the series is not saved until the conflict is cleared.
- When you change a series with the This session and the repeats after it scope and even one of its sessions conflicts, no session is saved: Manage a repeating series.
If the time you want is not on the list
The Start Time wheels are limited to the studio's Working Hours. The closing time is not part of the window; the last session starts at least 15 minutes before closing.
- If you need a session outside the working hours, type the time into the box. A typed time is not limited to the wheels’ range.
- Only the Owner can change the working hours, on Business › Branches: Studio details and working hours.
