Member packages
In Dakik a package is the template of what you sell members: the classes it covers, how many classes or days it lasts, its price and its rules, defined once. There are three types: Credit, Duration and Trial. Assign a Package gives one to a member in four steps, with dates, price, sessions and payment in one flow. A package nearing its end stands out on Needs Attention and the member list.
First 30 days free · No credit card required
Three package types
Credit (a set number of classes), Duration (a membership in days) and Trial, given to a member once.
Rules in the package
Cancellation, make-up, freeze and seat hold live in the package and are copied onto the member's package on sale.
A sale in four steps
Member and package, dates and price, sessions and the payment or installment debt, in one window.
Packages nearing their end
A package with fewer than 10 days left stands out on Needs Attention and on the member list, and the member is notified.
What is the difference between Credit, Duration and Trial packages?
A Credit package gives a set number of classes: the member takes as many as Classes Included within the Validity Period. A Duration package is a membership counted in days, and a Weekly Class Limit can cap the classes each week. A Trial package is for newcomers. The Active Packages card on Member Details shows the credits used, booked and waiting as make-ups, each in its own color.
- Credit
- A set number of classes within a set time. Limit per Class can also cap how many credits one class may use.
- Duration
- Classes for the whole validity period; a Weekly Class Limit left empty means no limit.
- Trial
- An introductory package with no make-up, freeze or seat hold, given to the same member only once.
- The Class Type (Group, Private or Duo) and the Class Types decide which classes the package can be used for
- A booking sets a credit aside for the class; the Credits bar tells apart the used, the pooled, the booked and the not yet booked
- A price of 0 makes the package free; Change Price plans a new price from a given date
Which rules does a package carry?
For every type but Trial, the Make-up, Freeze and Seat Hold Period part of the form sets three rules: how far ahead and how often the member can cancel or move a class, how many times and for how many days the package can be frozen, and how long a standing seat is kept after it ends. The rules are copied onto the member's package on sale, so a change only affects later sales.
- Make-up Right: No Make-up Credit, Reschedulable, or Poolable and Reschedulable
- Membership Freeze Right: the Freeze Count and the Freeze Length; a frozen package ends later by the length of the freeze
- Seat Hold Period: 7 days on a new package, up to 60
- The Weekly Class Limit and the Limit per Class are checked on every booking
How do you sell a package to a member?
Assign a Package, on the member list or on Member Details, gives the package to the member in four steps: Member and Package, Dates and Price, Plan Sessions and Payment. The end date is worked out from the validity, and a price for this member alone is entered on the way. The payment is taken now or split into installments as debt, and nothing is saved until the last step.
- Bookings held as Awaiting Package turn into reservations on their own when the package covers them
- Each installment becomes its own row under Finance › Open Receivables, where it is collected when due
- Giving the same trial package a second time takes an owner or admin and a written reason

What happens when a package ends, and how is it renewed?
Package Ends on Member Details shows the soonest end and the days left; with fewer than 10 days to go it turns amber and a Package ending line appears on Needs Attention. The member also gets a notification that their package is about to end. Renewing means giving them a new package with Assign a Package, and a standing seat in a series is held meanwhile for the Seat Hold Period.
- The Packages Ending card on the member list filters to members with fewer than 10 days left in one press
- Edit Package changes a sold package's dates, price and classes included; it is for owners and admins
- Make-up credits expire on the package end date at the latest
- A member with no running package shows as No Package and does not count toward the plan's active member limit
A sold package keeps its type, its classes and its make-up, freeze and seat hold rules; those cannot be edited.
Frequently asked questions
Do members pay for their package online?
No. No payment is taken through Dakik; the studio takes it and records it in the Payment step of Assign a Package, or later with Take a Payment. The amount can be split into installments: the member is reminded as one falls due, and the studio sees it under Open Receivables.
When I raise a package price, do packages already sold change?
No. A new price set with Change Price applies to sales from today or from a later date you choose. Packages already sold keep their price and their installments, and a planned price can be withdrawn before it takes effect.
How do I set up an unlimited monthly membership?
Create a Duration package, enter a number of days such as 30 as the Validity Period and leave the Weekly Class Limit empty. A Duration package does not count classes, so the member attends the classes it covers for its whole validity. That is also why a canceled class leaves no credit in the Make-up Pool.
Can a member's package be extended?
Yes. An owner or admin changes the end date or the validity with Edit Package on the Active Packages card. The new period has to cover every booking from today on, and the dates cannot change while the package is frozen. Every change is written to the audit log with its old and new values.
Do group and private classes need separate packages?
Yes. Every package belongs to one Class Type: Group, Private or Duo. The classes it covers are picked from that type, and a class of another type is not paid from it. You set up a package for each type you sell.
WHEN YOU ARE READY
