The bell and the notification panel
Every role in Dakik, members included, has a notification inbox. The bell in the top bar shows how many notifications you have not read.
Press the bell in the top bar.
Your latest notifications open in a panel; on a phone the panel slides up from the bottom of the screen.
Press a notification.
It counts as read and the page or window it is about opens.
Search the Notifications page
The Notifications page shows every notification you have received, newest first, grouped by day.
To see only what you have not read, press Unread at the top.
The list narrows to unread notifications; All brings everything back.
Press one of Classes, Reservations, Payments and Packages or Members and Trials and tick the notification types you want to see in the list that opens.
Each type you pick shows as a tag under the bar, and the list shows only those types.
Press Clear Filters to remove every pick.
Answer a waitlist offer from the notification
When a spot opens in a class you are waitlisted for, the A Waitlist Spot Opened Up notification carries Join and Decline buttons and the Time left. You can answer without leaving the page; once the time runs out the buttons go and it reads Time is up. See Accept a waitlist offer.
Turn on push notifications and the sound
Open Settings from your profile menu and go to the Preferences page.
The Push Notifications card is there.
Turn on Push notifications and allow the browser's request.
The message "Push notifications are on" appears and the switch reads Allowed.
To hear a sound for important notifications, turn on Notification sound.
Play a Test Sound lets you hear it.
How a notification reaches you
- Every notification lands on the bell and the Notifications page. Whether it also goes out by push and WhatsApp is the studio’s choice: Edit notification templates.
- While Dakik is open in a tab, important notifications also pop up briefly in the corner of the screen; View opens the page they are about. Notifications that are not pressing, such as a trial follow-up, wait on the bell.
- Urgent notifications, such as a canceled or changed class or a waitlist offer, play a sound if Notification sound is on.
- While the tab is in the background and this device has no push registration, important notifications show as desktop notifications, if you allowed them.
- Between 22:00 and 08:00 on the studio's clock, push notifications are held until morning and play no sound; urgent ones do not wait: Reminder timing.
