The timings you can set
The Reminder Timing card on Settings › Notifications holds three timings:
| Setting | Default | Values | What it means |
|---|---|---|---|
| Class reminder | 24 hours before | 1-168 hours | The reminder goes out this long before the class starts. |
| Due-date reminder | 3 days before | 0-30 days | The installment reminder goes out this long before the due date; 0 means on the day. |
| Waitlist confirmation | 120 minutes | 5-1440 minutes | How long a member has to accept a freed-up spot. |
Change the timing
Open Settings from your profile menu at the top right and go to the Notifications page.
The Reminder Timing card is there.
On the Class reminder, Due-date reminder and Waitlist confirmation rows, enter the duration in the field on the right.
For a class reminder of a day or more, the field spells it out underneath, for example "36 hours = 1 day 12 hours".
Press Save the Timing.
The message "Reminder timing saved" appears.
How reminders go out
- Class reminder: Dakik scans the calendar every 10 minutes and, for each session starting within the time you set, sends one reminder to the members holding a spot in it. Instructors get no class reminders.
- Due-date reminder: every morning, once for each installment that is due within the days you set and not fully paid; it reaches the member, Owners and Admins. An installment past its due date is reported the next morning as Overdue Payment, to Owners and Admins only.
- Waitlist confirmation: when a spot opens in a session, the next member in line gets this long to take it. If less time remains before the class, that shorter window applies. If the member does not answer in time, the offer passes to the next member: Manage the waitlist.
Quiet hours
Between 22:00 and 08:00 on the studio's clock, Dakik does not make members' or staff's phones buzz. Push and WhatsApp messages due in those hours are held until 08:00; the in-app notification still arrives at once. Quiet hours are fixed and cannot be changed.
- Waitlist offers never wait and go out at night too: the confirmation window runs on its own clock.
- An urgent message, such as a canceled class or changed class details, goes out at once if the class starts by 10:00 the next morning.
- A message held overnight that could not arrive before the class starts is not sent at all; the member still sees the notification in the app.
- A class whose reminder would fall in quiet hours is reminded in the last sweep before they start, at 21:50. A 09:00 class reminded 12 hours ahead, for example, is reminded at 21:50 the evening before.
