The trial class page
The Trial Class Page is a public link where people new to your studio book a trial class on their own, with no account to open. You set it up on the Classes page and add the link to your Instagram profile or website. A visitor picks a session and holds it with a code sent by email; Dakik adds them as a member, assigns the trial package and reminds you to follow up.
First 30 days free · No credit card required
One link to share
The address is made from your studio's name; Copy takes it for your Instagram profile or website.
Only fitting sessions
The page lists sessions the trial package covers, open to beginners, with a free spot.
The trial package, automatically
The trial package covering the session's class is assigned to the new member; any price is recorded as a debt.
A follow-up the next day
The day after the class, Owners and Admins are reminded it is a good time to offer a package.
How do you set up and open the trial class page?
An Owner or Admin presses Set Up on the Trial Class Page card at the top of Business › Classes, picks the trial packages the page uses and enters how many days of sessions it shows. Once saved, the card shows the page's link, and turning on the card's switch starts taking bookings. Copy takes the link, and Open the Page opens it in a new tab as a visitor sees it.
Set Up
Press Set Up on the Trial Class Page card; a window of the same name opens.
Trial packages
Pick the packages the page uses; Classes on the page lists the active classes they cover.
Listing window
Enter how many days of sessions the page shows from today: 1-60 days, 14 at first.
Save and open
Press Save, then turn on the card's switch; it reads On.
The address can be changed in the Page address field of the Set Up window; the old link stops working the moment you do, so update every place you shared it.
How does a visitor book a trial class?
Opening the link, a visitor sees the studio's name, logo and contact details and the sessions with a free spot. They pick a day and a session, enter their full name, email and phone, and accept the studio's privacy notice and consent text. Entering the 6-digit code sent to their email holds the spot, and a confirmation arrives by email, carrying the invitation to the member app too. No account is needed.
- The page only lists sessions the chosen trial packages cover, at the All Levels or Beginner level, with a free spot
- The visitor is not shown how many spots are left
- The code is valid for 10 minutes; a new one can be asked for after 60 seconds
- The page takes at most 50 bookings a day
What does the trial package do?
The page works with packages whose Package Type is Trial. A trial package holds a set number of classes and a validity period, with no make-up credits, freezing or seat hold. On booking, the first package covering the chosen session's class is assigned to the new member and the session is booked from it. A Price of 0 makes the trial class free; otherwise it is paid at the studio.
- The same trial package is assigned to a member a second time only when an Owner or Admin approves it with a reason
- A trial package makes the new member an active member, counted toward your plan's active member limit
- A trial package set to inactive is no longer used on the page
How do you follow up with a new member after the trial class?
The moment someone books on the page, Owners and Admins get a New Trial Class notification. Around 10:00 the day after the class, Trial Class Follow-up reminds them it is a good time to offer a package; it does not come if the member did not show up or already holds another package. If the member wants to continue, Assign a Package on their page sells a regular package, with nothing to add again.
- Choosing Trial Class Page in the Source filter of the Members page lists only the members who came through the page
- The Members and Trials filter of the Notifications page gathers the trial notifications together
Dakik sends the member no package offer after the trial class by itself, and there is no separate report of how many trial members bought a package; the offer is yours to make.
Frequently asked questions
Can the trial class be paid?
Yes. The trial package's Price sets it; enter 0 and the class is free. For a paid trial, the visitor sees the amount at the end of booking and that it is paid at the studio. The debt waits as a single installment due on the class day under Finance › Open Receivables.
Can the same person take the trial class twice?
No. Each email address and phone number can take your studio's trial class once, and deleting the trial member does not change that. A number counts as the same whether written 0532, +90 532 or 532. Another studio's trial class is not affected.
Can someone who is already a member book on the page?
No. Nobody whose email or phone is already on your member list is sent a code; the page tells them to contact the studio for a class. An email address registered to another Dakik account cannot book either. You add such people as members yourself.
Can someone who cannot come cancel their trial class booking themselves?
No. A trial package has no make-up credits, so the member cannot cancel the trial class or move it to another time in the app. If they cannot come, they need to contact the studio directly.
Can I pause trial class bookings for a while?
Yes. With the card's switch off, the page tells visitors there are no trial classes right now; bookings already taken stay as they are. Turn the switch back on and the page takes bookings again at the same link.
